HARITHA KERALAM - 2016

“GHSS MANGALPADY WITH ITS NATURE PROTECTION MISSION”

On December 8^th , 2016 the Haritha Kerala Programme was inaugurated by the Headmistress Smt. Latha K. Staff Secretary Mr. Umesh Naik presided over the function. Senior Asst. Smt Jyothi, Mr. Sunil Kumar T, Mr. PrakasanE.R, delivered their speech on the significance of the day. Oath taking ceremony was conducted by Smt. Sheela K S. Mr. Vijaya C.H, welcomed the gathering and Mr. Manoj Kumar gave the Vote of thanks.

After the function, Drawing Competition, Poster making Competition were conducted for the students. Then Quiz Competition was also conducted. Collective Painting on the importance of Haritha Kerala Mission was conducted on the leadership of Mr. Satheeshan, GBLPS Mangalpady. Head of the institution, teachers and students contributed for the same.

Afternoon students and teachers cleaned the surroundings, collected the waste plastic materials and conducted awareness program on the importance on protecting the land and water resources. Our School Scout & Guides with other students participated in the Panchayath Level Social Service Program. Sweets were distributed to all the students.
